Reading The Stone Lion inspired year 7 students to explore symbolism. Students have been planning and creating visual images of possible statues which could symbolise the school values.

Reflecting on their ideas they have had to justify their statue and how it represents the school values. Check out Alex’s work here. More will be added as they are completed. The Year 7 students have also been working on using non-finite complex sentences. You might like to ask a year 7 student to explain this to you.
